Basic Pistol Marksmanship

BPM is designed for the new shooter.  This course will provide you with a good solid foundation from which to develop confidence and proficiency with the handgun.  This course is also perfect for the shooter who has never had any formal marksmanship training.  Topics covered include Safety, Characteristics of Handguns, Marksmanship fundamentals, Shooting positions, Loading/Unloading, to name a few.

Course length is 2 days

 

 

Advanced Pistol Marksmanship

This course takes you into the next phase of pistol training.  In a deadly force encounter the use of proper tactics along with sound marksmanship skills can save your life or the life of another.  This course will provide you with the skills needed to accomplish this task.  Topics covered in this program include Safety, Firearm Retention, Weak/Strong Hand Shooting, Multiple Threat Engagement, Use of Cover/Concealment, Shooting on the Move, and Immediate Action Drills.  The course is 2 days in length.  Completion of BPM or proof of a completion of a Basic Pistol Course is required.

 

 

AR –15 Type Weapons Armorer Clinic  

This clinic was created for the responsible rifle/carbine owner who desires a working knowledge of their rifle or carbine.  This course will take you through Safety, Disassembly, Inspection, Cleaning, Troubleshooting, Assembly, Cycle of Operation, Function Check, Sight Mechanics, and Proper Zeroing Procedures of the AR-15 rifle.  This clinic is 1 day / 8 hours in length.

 

 

Basic Rifle Marksmanship

BRM provides the student with a solid foundation on which to build good sound rifle marksmanship skills.  This program of instruction is for any rifle with iron sights. The course covers topics such as  Safety, Characteristics of the Rifle, Care, Cleaning and Maintenance, Ammunition, Zeroing Procedures, and Position Firing.  This course is 2 days in length.

 

 

North Carolina Concealed Carry Certification

This course is approved by the NC Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission for concealed carry training prior to applying for your permit.  This program of instruction consists of classroom and range training. Students will be required to pass a written as well as a shooting proficiency test at the end of the training. Upon successful completion students will receive a certificate which must be submitted along with your application for your carry permit.  This course includes the marksmanship portion of BPM along with training pertaining to NC GS 14,15, 15A addressing the use of deadly force and NC Firearms Law.  This course is two days/16 hours.

 

 

Concealed Carry II

This course takes you to the next phase of personal protection with the handgun.  Lawyers and judges have now looked at the extended training individuals are receiving after obtaining a concealed carry permit.  Most people have not attended any additional training.  This course covers tactical use of the handgun, use of cover/concealment/ close quarter engagement, and limited visibility shooting using the handheld flashlight with a night fire exercise.  Students must posses a valid Concealed Carry Permit from their state of residence.  This course is two days in length.
